Cartier Id Series Two Concept Watches Introduction

Cartier further promotes the level of creativity and scientific research, and launches two concept watches, the CARTIER IDONE concept watch and the CARTIER IDTWO concept watch.

Why is it so simple to call it the Cartier IDONE Concept Watch and Cartier IDTWO Concept Watch? Exactly because they are not simple watches or, to be more precise, they have gone beyond the meaning of ordinary watches. Cartier IDONE and Cartier IDTWO are two ‘concept watches’ launched by the Cartier ID program. ID takes the name of Innovation and Development, and it also represents IDeas. The purpose of designing these two unique watches is to express a vision and a direction. For more than two hundred years, the watchmaking industry has always been confined to traditional solutions when facing the challenge of time accuracy, and these two watches are Cartier’s suggestions for the future development of the watchmaking industry.

In 2010, the Cartier IDONE concept watch was born out of nowhere. Its manufacturing and assembly process all reflect the innovative concept of using cutting-edge materials and technology, and there is no need to adjust it for life.

In the creation of the Cartier IDTWO concept watch, Cartier aims to improve the efficiency of the watch movement. This movement has increased energy storage by nearly one third and has reduced energy consumption by half in the same volume. Cartier’s watchmakers have started from scratch again and have found some solutions never before thought of: new materials, original production technology and completely innovative design concepts. And the most important of these is a bold and wonderful idea: instead of exhausting the effort to reduce the pneumatic pressure, why not let it disappear completely? In short, let the air disappear! So the first vacuum watch came into being, with a power reserve of up to 32 days.

Cartier IDONE concept watch and Cartier IDTWO concept watch, showing the vast depth of art and the infinite possibilities of technology. In the search for the perfect timepiece, Cartier turned in a bold and innovative answer.
