Baselworld 2012: Blacksand Launches Stratographe
Stratographe is Blacksand’s first chronograph, using the unique case of the Uniformity watch launched by the brand last year. This is a one-button chronograph with a tachometer and a pulse meter to measure heart rate.

It is worth noting that Stratographe is equipped with Blacksand’s first completely self-developed, designed and assembled movement. The Blacksand CAL2002 manual winding column-wheel chronograph movement, which vibrates 28,800 times per hour, has a 50-hour power reserve, and the chronograph function is operated by a single button on the crown at 3 o’clock.

Blacksand also adopts a timing mechanism with an individual element of unusual steps. When operating the timing function, the wearer can clearly observe the movement of the element through the transparent sapphire crystal back cover.
In addition to the purple design element at the end of the central chronograph seconds hand with Blacksand characteristics, the date window and the inner layer of the purple stitched leather strap also echo it. The hollowed-out dial of Stratographe is equipped with two ceramic inserts. This watch is available in three different versions, with a titanium case set with ceramic or a titanium case set with 18K white or rose gold.
