Lange A. Lange & Söhne’s latest watch series was launched at the Geneva International Horological Fair (SIHH), and the news media and agents were amazed. In the coming months, Lange of Saxony watch factory will exclusively display this new series of watches in twelve Lange stores around the world. At that time, watch collectors and enthusiasts will have the opportunity to appreciate Lange’s ingenious masterpieces up close. The new watch tour exhibition will begin at the end of February. The first stop is the Lange store in Singapore.
New Lange watch series (from left, all models are made of 18K rose gold) Lange Zeitwerk Striking Time, Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar, Richard Lange Perpetual Calendar, Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase, 1815 Tourbillon
This year, Lange’s focus is on precision. The Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase’s moon phase display is made using a patented coating process to reproduce the moon phase profit and loss cycle to an accuracy of 99.9978%. After setting the time for the watch, if the watch continues to run uninterrupted, the moon phase display only needs to be corrected one day every 122.6 years. Richard Lange Perpetual Calendar ‘Terraluna’ moon phase display is more accurate-Lange watch for the first time the moon phase display device on the movement side. The moon phase display consists of three dials. Through the circular window at the bottom of the table, you can watch the celestial discs with bright stars, and the moon orbits the earth counterclockwise. This device accurately weights the existing moon days of 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes, and 3 seconds, and only needs to correct one day after 1.058 years. Equipped with two powerful mainsprings, dual barrels provide a 14-day power reserve. The constant power escapement ensures that the watch maintains a steady rate throughout the power reserve. The new 1815 Tourbillon is also designed with extreme precision in mind. This watch’s tourbillon is equipped with Lange’s patented stop-second function, and the zeroing function of the adjustment device is also patented. The combination of the two functions ensures that the watch can be precisely adjusted.
